TXTA Foundation Honors Kirsten Barringer with the 2024 Kay Crimm Award

AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) Foundation is proud to announce Kirsten Barringer as the recipient of the 2024 Kay Crimm Award. This award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and service to the TXTA Foundation. 

Kirsten Barringer, Virtual Financial Services, has been an exemplary TXTA Foundation Trustee for many years, consistently providing valuable insights and demonstrating her unwavering commitment to the Foundation's mission. Her most significant contribution has been her tireless efforts in fundraising for the scholarship program through the Annual Houston Golf Tournament. Thanks to her leadership, the tournament has become a cornerstone event, significantly advancing the Foundation's scholarship initiatives.

Kirsten also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the TXTA Foundation and as a member of the TXTA Board of Directors. Her ongoing commitment to the industry and the Foundation adds her to a long line of distinguished award winners since the Kay Crimm Award was established in 2000. 

TXTA Foundation was established in 1978 to fund education and research projects for the Texas trucking industry. The Foundation is a non-profit educational, public relations, research and community service organization governed by a Board of Trustees. The mission of this all-volunteer organization is to work with TXTA member companies to fund educational and community service programs to enhance the understanding of and image of the Texas trucking industry, with the goal of positioning trucking as the most vital and necessary industry in Texas.
